2025 has been a whirlwind of changes, both in the world of taxes and in our office. While our tax season was relatively normal, in July, the sweeping legislation known as One Big Beautiful Bill (OBBB) was passed, and, in October, the state signed a bill subjecting many formerly-untaxed services to charging a sales tax. In December, our firm also changed hands, joining a successful, family-owned CPA group that is dedicated to building long-term client relationships.

On December 1st, Toyer Dietrich & Associates merged with The Akopyan Group CPAs P.S. to be the third office in the group. We are also the farthest north and the only office in Snohomish County. We sent out joint letters to all of our clients announcing the change and to help ease the transition.
